Encourage heavy and extended flowering by harvesting flowers regularly and removing seed pods. Sweet peas grow best in cool weather.
To Grow:
Hard seed coats must be softened prior to planting. Soak seeds overnight in warm water or scratch the surface of the seed with sharp knife. Plant in spring as soon as soil can be worked. Light frost tolerant. Plant seeds just below surface and keep moist until germination. Can be started indoors 6-8 weeks before your last frost. Transplant outdoors as soon as the soil can be worked.
