Its striking pink-purple flowers are attractive to bees, butterflies and hummingbirds, particularly when massed. The distinct, lemony aroma of its leaves also makes this a superb plant for tea.
Easily grown in average soils with dry to medium moisture in full sun to part shade. Naturally inhabits prairies and roadsides.
