(Chrysanthemum maximum) Perennial. This early blooming flower is a 1-2’ tall version of the larger Shasta Daisy. Brilliant white blooms with yellow button centers make beautiful cut flower and can be used for edible greens. Excellent choice for container gardens and border plantings.
To Grow:
Sow seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before your last average frost date. Press them into the soil but do not cover them with soil because they need light to germinate. Transplant seedlings outdoors as soon as the soil can be worked. Direct seed after last frost.
