(Clarkia unguiculata) Annual. These California native wildflowers make an outstanding, long lasting cut flower with a vase life of 7-10 days. Tall stems bloom in late spring to summer in delightful shades of creamy white, rose pink, and fuchsia.
Also known as Mountain Garland. On June 1, 1806, Meriwether Lewis, of the Lewis & Clark Expedition, collected these seeds in Kamiah, Idaho and named the genus “Clarkia” after Captain William Clark.
